Privacy Policy

The short version. Your baby's profile and sleep logs live on your device, not our servers. When you ask the coach a question, that message is sent to our AI provider to generate an answer — nothing else. We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising trackers.
Who we are
Baby Sleep Coach ("we", "us") makes an iOS app and this website that help parents and caregivers establish healthy infant sleep. You can reach us any time at hello@babysleepcoach.app.
Information we collect
- On-device data. Your baby's name, birth date, weight, chosen method, and the sleep, nap, and feeding logs you enter are stored locally on your device (in the app's own storage). We do not have accounts and this data is not uploaded to us.
- Coach messages. When you use the in-app AI coach, the text of your question and minimal context (such as your baby's age in months and your selected method) are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We do not attach your name, email, or device identifiers to these requests.
- Waitlist / beta email. If you enter your email on this website or ask to join the beta, we store that email so we can send you your invite and product updates.
- Basic technical data. Our website host records standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and reliable.
How we use information
- To provide the app's features — tracking, plans, routines, and coaching answers.
- To respond to your questions and send beta invites or important updates.
- To keep the service secure and diagnose problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
The AI coach and third parties
The coaching answers are generated by a third-party large-language-model provider (OpenAI). Your question is processed under that provider's terms and privacy policy to return an answer. Coaching guidance is general and educational — see our Terms and always consult your pediatrician for medical concerns.
Data storage and security
Because your logs are stored on your device, deleting the app removes that data from your phone. Waitlist emails are stored with our website infrastructure provider (Cloudflare). We apply reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children's privacy
The app is designed for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. It is intended for adults recording information about their own infant. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Your choices
- You can clear on-device data by deleting the app.
- You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, or by emailing us.
- To request deletion of your waitlist email, contact hello@babysleepcoach.app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
